In simple terms, this means that if your claim is unsuccessful, we will not charge you personally for our legal services. On the successful conclusion of your claim, your legal costs will be met by your opponent.

Whilst most law firms deduct a success fee (a percentage of your compensation), at Bury & Walkers, we are pleased to say we do not deduct a success fee so you keep 100% of your claim*.

We will discuss all funding options with you including legal expense insurance which is a policy specially designed to support your claim. *Sometimes, we may recommend that you take out an insurance policy called an ‘After the Event’ to support your claim. There are no upfront costs to pay and the vast majority of the policy is also paid by your opponent in addition to your legal costs.
