How we work out our costs
Many firms of solicitors can be defensive about their charges, but at Bury & Walkers we have very specific policies towards fees.
We believe in being open and transparent
We’ll always discuss our charges with you before we begin any work. Sometimes this means carrying out background work to assess how much there is to be done, but where possible we’ll supply in writing an estimate of the likely overall cost involved.
If things are still unclear we’ll provide our best estimate at that time and then review this with you as we progress.
We adapt our charging and payment methods to suit you
We understand that different clients require different ways of paying for our services, and we’re always happy to discuss the best method for you.
Some clients prefer to pay by credit card, some prefer billing as the matter progresses, some like us to act on an hourly rate, and others like to agree a fixed fee up front to give them the benefit of certainty. We’re happy to look at all of these options.
We strive to deliver you results and value for money
No client likes paying legal fees, but this is made easier when you feel you’ve had value for money.
